There’s something magical about the combination of honeyed goat cheese, fresh figs, and golden crostini that captures the essence of late summer and early fall. This Honey Goat Cheese & Fig Crostini is a simple yet elegant appetizer, perfect for gatherings or as a light bite to savor with a glass of wine. The creamy, whipped goat cheese pairs beautifully with the delicate sweetness of figs and a hint of orange blossom honey, creating a refreshing blend of flavors and textures. Each bite is a celebration of seasonal ingredients that brings an effortlessly delightful touch to any occasion!


Ingredients

• 1 fresh baguette, thinly sliced

• Olive oil, for brushing

• 8 oz honey goat cheese, softened

• 2 tbsp heavy cream

• 1/4 tsp sea salt

• Fresh figs, thinly sliced

• Orange blossom honey, for drizzling


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the honey goat cheese, heavy cream, and salt. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, whip the mixture until smooth and fluffy.

3. Spread a generous dollop of the whipped honey goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice. Top with a few slices of fresh figs.

4. Drizzle a small amount of orange blossom honey over each crostini for a floral sweetness.
