Goat Cheese-Stuffed Dates with Caramelized Honey

Servings: About 24 stuffed dates


Ingredients

  • 8 oz goat cheese

  • 24 Medjool dates (pitted)

  • 8 oz bacon (cut into thirds, about 24 pieces)

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp balsamic reduction (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. Stuff the dates with about 1 heaping teaspoon of goat cheese, adjusting as needed to use up the entire 8 oz package.


3. Wrap with bacon: Cut your bacon slices into thirds. Wrap each stuffed date with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.


4. Bake: Arrange the wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30–35 minutes, turning halfway through, until the bacon is golden and crispy.
