Raspberry & Honey Goat Cheese Toast

Updated: Mar 28, 2023

The perfect combination of sweet and savory, this Raspberry and Honey Goat Chesse Toast is as simple as it is delicious! The jam and honey goat cheese both last for up to a month in the fridge and make a great quick breakfast, brunch, or snack!

I love the versatility of this recipe! Feel free to swap out raspberries for any of your favorite fruits and use cream cheese (or mascarpone for a milder tangy flavor) in place of

Goat cheese if you're not a fan!

Simple Raspberry Jam

  • 1 pint fresh raspberries

  • 1 tbsp cane sugar

  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp fresh lemon zest (optional)

  • Pinch of sea salt

    1. In a bowl, smash berries with sugar, vanilla, and salt

    2. Bring to a boil in a pot and add lemon juice/zest, reduce and simmer for 10 minutes

    3. Pour into a mason jar and allow to cool before using

Honey Goat Cheese

  • 2 oz plain goat cheese

  • 1 tbsp raw honey

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

    1. Soften goat cheese and add into a bowl with honey and salt

    2. Mix to combine throughly and reserve in the fridge until ready to use

To assemble:

  1. Toast bread in toaster or in a sauté pan with 1 tbsp of butter

  2. Smear with goat cheese and top with raspberry jam

  3. Garnish with fresh lemon thyme (optional)
